{"id":4897,"date":"2021-12-08T16:07:46","date_gmt":"2021-12-08T16:07:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jetblackdevs.joomlawired.com\/?p=4897"},"modified":"2021-12-08T16:07:48","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T16:07:48","slug":"site-engineer-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jetblackdevs.joomlawired.com\/?p=4897","title":{"rendered":"Site Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Setting out using total stations, GPS equipment, and to be able to undertake traditional setting out using profiles, batter rail and pegs<\/li><li>Read and review construction drawings<\/li><li>Undertake basic take-offs<\/li><li>Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team<\/li><li>Have a good commercial understanding and know the difference between cost and value<\/li><li>Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification<\/li><li>Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Skills Required<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking a proactive problem solver, a confident communicator, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of earthworks, drainage, highways, and some experience of reinforced concrete structures. Must also have a CSCS card in the appropriate discipline and have a BSc\/ HND\/ HNC qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential and the successful candidate will be happy to travel throughout our Eastern Region. A First Aid at Work qualification would also be desirable.
